On 23 June 2025, the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) issued its first-ever green ammonia tender to support decarbonising India’s fertiliser industry. The tender aims to procure up to 200 MW worth of green hydrogen-based ammonia, aligning with the national target to reduce carbon emissions in key industrial sectors.
