The Ministry of Jal Shakti’s DDWS organised a National Workshop in New Delhi to frame policy on sustainable operation and maintenance (O&M) of rural piped water supply under Jal Jeevan Mission. Inaugurated by Union Water Minister C.R. Patil, the workshop brought together central/state officials to discuss digital monitoring, community ownership, and long‑term service delivery models to ensure rural water security.
