The government launched the NIPUN Bharat Mission, aiming to ensure all children achieve foundational literacy and numeracy by Grade 3 by 2026–27. With over 14,500 PM‑SHRI schools to be strengthened, the mission supports NEP goals and includes teacher training, learning assessment tools, and targeted resource development.
