On 20 June 2025, the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship released the draft National Policy for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (2025–35), aiming to align with global standards. It proposes outcome-based training, financial and non-financial incentives, and stakeholder feedback mechanisms. Open for public comment, it focuses on enhancing employability and entrepreneurship over the next decade.
