Following a rise in maritime incidents involving undeclared hazardous materials, India has called on the International Maritime Organization (IMO) to conduct a global investigation. The appeal focuses on improving global container shipping protocols, particularly regarding lithium-ion batteries and dangerous goods under the IMDG Code.
